In late January, the Boyfriend and I went to a monster truck rally at the Verizon Center with some of my friends. My friend Bobby brought his roommate Joe.
Joe's "occupation" is professional protester. But he only protests one thing: abortion rights. Oh yes, that's right. Joe, my monster truck rally buddy, was the one who stood up in the middle of Obama's commencement address at Notre Dame.
His full name is Joseph Landry. If you look him up on Facebook, you will see that he has changed his profile picture to one of him being hustled out of the stadium. Joe was in South Bend for over a month before the ceremony and shaved his beard the day before to be less recognizable.
Congratulations Joe on not getting arrested and making the front page of The Washington Post!
