Aught Nine, Save A Dime: Sandals

We are having "Flip Flop Fridays" at my office place this summer. The wording of the announcement e-mail said "nice flip flops and sandals" which we later clarified to a co-worker as "not Tevas".

So I started shopping for sandals. I haven't done much shopping this spring so I was surprised to see this sandal in 4 different stores at 4 different prices. Guess which one I bought!

Nordstrom: DV by Dolce Vita 'Olive' Sandal $49.95

Steve Madden: SANFRANN $44.96

Aldo: KARRENBERG $40

Target: Women's Merona® Eleora Flat Sandals $17.99

Yes, I know I said I hate shopping at Target for clothing and shoes, but I paid $24 for these (bought them onine; didn't want them to be sold out by the time I got to the store).

I almost bought the $40 Aldo ones, but I needed a size 8 to keep my foot from hanging off the sides (I'm a size 6). The Tar-jey ones only allow minimal foot overhang. Let's see how it goes when I actually walk outside with them.
