Setting: the Farragut West Metro
Scenario: After a wonderful pre-birthday birthday dinner where we split a bottle of white eco-friendly wine from Chile that had a cute little bicycle on the logo. The Boyfriend had already swiped his card through the turnstile.
Me: *rummaging through my dark, cavernous handbag looking for my wallet* Don't laugh at the drunk girl trying to find her Metro card!
Up next: my birthday goodies! Also known as, why the Boyfriend should thank God everyday for the invention of Etsy since it makes his holiday shopping 1,000 times easier.
